Fabric & Care Guide
1. Our Fabric Quality & Commitment
At our manufacturing facility, fabric performance, durability, and hand-feel are central to every garment we produce. All our materials undergo rigorous quality control, colorfastness evaluations, and shrinkage tests to ensure compliance with international apparel standards (such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 upon request).
Below is a comprehensive guide to understanding, maintaining, and caring for the primary fabrics used across our custom sleepwear, loungewear, and functional apparel lines.
2. Natural Silk & Silk Blends
Preferred for premium sleepwear, eye masks, and luxury loungewear.
Characteristics: High breathability, natural hypoallergenic properties, smooth luxurious drape, and temperature-regulating comfort.
Washing: Hand wash cold (water temperature below 30°C / 86°F) or machine wash on a delicate/silk cycle using a mesh laundry bag.
Detergent: Use only pH-neutral liquid detergent specifically formulated for silk/wool. Avoid harsh bleach, optical brighteners, or fabric softeners.
Drying: Do not wring or twist. Lay flat on a clean towel to dry in the shade. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fiber degradation and color fading.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side using the lowest silk setting (below 110°C / 230°F) while slightly damp, or use a low-heat garment steamer.
3. Pure Linen & Linen-Cotton Blends
Preferred for resort wear, casual loungewear, and breathable sleepwear.
Characteristics: Highly absorbent, exceptional ventilation, naturally textured finish, and increases in softness with every wash.
Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold or warm water (up to 40°C / 104°F). Wash with like colors.
Detergent: Mild liquid detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach as it weakens linen flax fibers.
Drying: Air dry preferred. If tumble drying, use a low-heat, delicate setting and remove while slightly damp to minimize deep wrinkles.
Ironing: Embrace natural linen wrinkles for a casual aesthetic, or iron on high heat with steam while the fabric is damp for a crisp, tailored look.
4. Functional & Performance Fabrics
Preferred for moisture-wicking loungewear, active recovery garments, and technical apparel.
Characteristics: Advanced moisture management, 4-way stretch, thermal regulation, high durability, and quick-drying capabilities.
Washing: Machine wash cold (below 30°C / 86°F) inside out with similar technical fabrics.
Detergent: Standard mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets, as silicone coatings clog the technical pores and compromise moisture-wicking performance.
Drying: Air dry in the shade or tumble dry on low heat. High heat can damage elastane/spandex fibers and ruin fabric elasticity.
Ironing: Do not iron directly or dry clean unless specifically stated on the product tech pack.
5. Cotton & Modal / Viscose Blends
Preferred for everyday basics, soft pyjamas, and stretchy loungewear.
Characteristics: Ultra-soft hand-feel, excellent moisture absorption, breathable, and skin-friendly for sensitive skin.
Washing: Machine wash cold or warm (up to 30°C–40°C) with similar colors to prevent color bleeding.
Detergent: All-purpose mild detergent.
Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve garment shape and minimize potential shrinkage (pre-shrunk treatments applied during production).
Ironing: Warm iron on the reverse side if necessary.
6. General Care & Storage Guidelines for Bulk Orders
To maintain product freshness and packaging integrity prior to retail distribution:
Storage Environment: Store packaged garments in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat sources.
Hanger vs. Fold: Knitted fabrics and heavy modal loungewear should be stored folded to prevent shoulder stretching. Woven silk and structured linen pieces are best kept hung on padded or broad wooden hangers.
Moisture Protection: Keep garments in their original sealed protective polybags until final retail display.
